Swimming and Diving Competes Against Navy, Bucknell and Lafayette
The American University swimming and diving team travelled to Annapolis, Md., to take on Navy, Bucknell and Lafayette in a trio of dual meets on Saturday afternoon. AU's best result of the day came in the 400 free relay, where the Eagles took home the victory in the event.

Swimming and Diving Defeats Howard in Dual Meet
The American University men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams defeated Howard in a dual meet on Friday afternoon at Reeves Aquatic Complex. The Eagles’ men’s squad edged Howard, 107-86, while the women’s team beat the Bison, 106-56.

Isaacs Named Patriot League Female Swimmer of the Week
Dory Isaacs has been named the Patriot League Female Swimmer of the Week, conference officials announced Tuesday. The 2009 All-Patriot League First Team honoree won five events in last weekend’s meet against Catholic and George Washington.

Swimming Wins 13 of 26 Events Versus Catholic and George Washington; Isaacs Takes Home Five Victories
The American University swimming team competed against Catholic and George Washington over the weekend. The Eagles captured first place in 13 of the 26 events swam during the two days with Dory Isaacs winning five titles, and placing in AU's all-time top 10 in the 200 breast.

On September 26, the American University swimming and diving team hosted the annual Alumni Red/Blue Meet at Reeves Aquatic Center. Numerous swimming and diving alumni, along with the current team, participated in the event.

Swimming Finishes Fifth in Potomac Relay Invitational
Both the American University men’s and women’s swimming teams finished in fifth place in the Potomac Relay Invitational, which took place on Friday afternoon at American’s Reeves Aquatic Center. This was the first competition of the season for the Eagles.

Swimming and Diving to Host Potomac Relay Invitational on Friday at 3 p.m.
The American University swimming and diving team will host the Potomac Relay Classic this Friday, October 2 at 3 p.m. in the Reeves Aquatic Complex. Georgetown, George Mason, George Washington, Howard, Mary Washington, and Towson will join the Eagles in their first meet of the year.

Video: Swimming and Diving Team Continues Tradition with Charity Run
On September 12, the American University swimming and diving team participated in the Sprint Four the Cure, a 5k race that raised money and awareness for the Washington Hospital Center Cancer Institute. This is the 14th straight year that Mark Davin's squad has participated in a charity run prior to the season.

Swimming and Diving’s Alumni Red/Blue Meet to be Broadcast Live on Eagles Vision TV
The American University swimming and diving team’s annual Alumni Red/Blue Meet will be broadcast live on Eagles Vision TV this Saturday, September 26 at 3 p.m. The broadcast will feature multiple camera angles, a studio broadcast team and poolside interviews.

Kyle Taylor ’06 Completes Nine-Hour, 25-Mile Swim
Former American University swimmer Kyle Taylor ’06 completed a successful swim in the United Kingdom’s Dover Harbour, a 25-mile journey that took nine hours in frigid 60-degree water. His mission was to raise money for a four-year old boy who is in need of prosthetic legs.

24 members of the American University men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams have been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

Men's Swimming and Diving Team Tops Nation in GPA; Women's Squad Places 14th
The American University men's swimming and diving team posted a 3.54 GPA in the spring semester, the highest team grade-point average of all Division I swimming and diving programs, the Collegiate Swim Coaches Association of American (CSCAA) announced.

Former Swimming Student-Athlete Kyle Taylor to Swim the English Channel
Former American University swimmer Kyle Taylor '06 is getting set to embark on a journey of a lifetime. Later this week, the 25-year-old will swim 22 miles across the English Channel, which should take about 10 hours. His motivation is to raise funds for Harvey Parry, a four-year old boy who in need of new legs.
