Last year, American staff writer Mike Unger created "Birmingham Bound," a blog that captured all the excitement of the team's first-ever trip to the Big Dance.

Beginning with the Patriot League Tournament, Mike followed AU's magical run to its second-straight league crown and into the Big Dance. From the Bender Arena floor all the way to Philadelphia, Mike took fans behind the scenes on and off the court. Featuring real-time pictures and posts, the blog was a one-stop shop for Eagles fans who couldn't get enough.
